Day 1 – Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimajaro International airport, After clearing immigrations and collecting your luggage you will be met by your driver who will be waiting for you at arrivals. Drive to Arusha for check in and overnight at Arusha Coffee Lodge

Day 2 – Arusha City to Tarangire National Park 

Breakfast at the city hotel. Pick up by your guide and drive to Tarangire National Park, often a preferred park among guides due to its size and remoteness, particularly in the southern section. The park is known for the large number of elephants that congregate here. There are substantial populations of wildebeests, zebras, impala, giraffes, elands and buffalo, and even a few localised and unusual species, including the gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx. The primary landscape is dry, open woodland with hundreds of Africa’s prehistoric ‘Trees of Life’, the baobab tree. Picnic lunch at the park and later in the afternoon transfer to transfer to your camp for dinner and overnight Olivers Camp

Day 3 – Full day Tarangire National Park

Enjoy early morning and afternoon game drives at the park with meals at the Camp,

Day 4 – Tarangire to Ngorongoro

After a delicious breakfast surrounded by the early morning sounds of the bush, you will game drive out of the park and onwards to The Highlands Camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will spend the next two nights. Dinner and overnight at The Highlands

Day 5 –Full day Ngorongoro Crater

Early breakfast and depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day safari in the Ngorongoro Crater. Your day starts with views over the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. At 259 sq km (160 sq miles), the sheer size of the crater makes it difficult to comprehend the height of the towering walls, but the wind and clouds up here give you a hint. The rim of the crater sits around 610 m (2,001 ft) above the crater floor, and you’ll begin your descent to a naturally contained ecosystem home to zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, lion, hyena, jackal and even critically endangered black rhino. Later in the evening you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at The Highlands

Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti

To eliminate a long drive through the southern section of the Serengeti, you’ll say goodbye to your private guide and vehicle and hop on a light aircraft to the central section of the park this morning.  The park is covered with flat or gently rolling grasslands and occasionally dotted with rock kopjes, home to good populations of resident wildlife. Big cats love to have a good vantage point, and the kopjes provide that. With easy prey is available throughout the year, there is plentiful big cat activity here, and the dramatic rocky kopjes that dot the plains serve as excellent observation points for cheetah, lion and leopard. The Serengeti also hosts over 500 different bird species, including a variety of bustards, bright lilac-breasted rollers and shimmering starlings. Dinner and overnight at Namiri Plains Camp.

Day 7 – Full day Serengeti

You will have a full day of shared safari activities from Namiri Plains in the central Serengeti. This area of the park has the highest numbers of year-round resident wildlife, and the variety of landscapes explains the diversity of wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Namiri Plains Camp.

Day 8 – Central Serengeti to Northern or Southern Serengeti

Head to the airstrip this morning for your flight to Kogatende Airstrip in the northern Serengeti, where you’ll be staying at Sayari Camp. This region of the Serengeti is the perfect place to experience the Great Migration between July and October, particularly the dramatic river crossings.

Outside of migration season, the wildlife viewing around Sayari is exceptional and can be enjoyed on game drives and even from camp. When you’re not out seeing the multitude of animals that the Serengeti is known for, spend time at the swimming pool, indulge in a massage at the spa, or simply sit on your veranda enjoying the sounds of the bush. Dinner and overnight at Sayari camp

Day 9 – Full day Serengeti

All meals will be at the camp with game drives. Big cats are territorial and do not migrate with the millions of wildebeest and will often live in one area throughout their lives. Elephants like to stay as far away from the chaos of the migration as they can get. While the migration is a natural phenomenon that wildlife lovers dream of seeing, there are isolated, quiet areas of the Serengeti waiting for you as well. Return later to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 10 – Serengeti to Kilimanjaro

Breakfast at the camp and transfer to the airstrip with a game enroute and fly to Kilimanjaro Airport for your connecting onwards flights home. Alternatively you can opt for beach extension at Zanzibar
