Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You will be met by Wild fig Ventures representative and transfer to Wilson Airport for your safari link flight that takes approx. 1 hour to Ol Pejeta Conservancy Kamok airstrip. You will be transferred to the camp where you will have lunch, dinner and overnight at Kicheche Laikipia camp. A camp that offers an intimate safari immersed in one of Kenya’s most celebrated conservation landscapes. With just 6 elegant canvas tents tucked into the indigenous forest, this eco-camp combines contemporary design with the untamed spirit of the highland bush.
Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Morning, afternoon and all-day game drives through the conservation areas. Ol Pejeta conservancy is nestled in the heart of Laikipia at the foot of Mount Kenya is more than a wildlife destination and most successful conservation.
Mid-morning has optional activities like Meet the last two Northern white rhino, Lion tracking and behind the scenes with Chimpanzees.
Lunch at the camp and later afternoon game drive and enjoy sundowners at a scenic spot.
Day 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy to Maasai Mara Naboisho conservancy
Breakfast at Kicheche Laikipia Camp, check out and transfer to Kamok Airstrip for your flight to Maasai Mara that takes approx. 1 hour. Arrive Olare Motorogi airstrip and transfer to Kicheche Bush camp where you will have lunch. Afternoon game drive to explore the Mara's vast landscapes and later return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Maasai Mara
Early morning game drive to witness the sunrise and wildlife activity and return to the camp for breakfast. Early in the morning you can take hot air balloon ride (additional cost) that also comes with a breakfast. Spend mid-morning at leisure. Afternoon game drive in the Olare Motorogi conservancy. This exclusive conservancy offers exceptional year-round wildlife viewing, with one of the highest densities of big cats in Africa and over 300 bird species, including 50 raptors.
Day 6: Maasai Mara
Early morning game drive and afternoon game drives at the conservancy. Or an optional visit at an extra cost to the Maasai mara national reserve. All meals at the camp. Dinner and overnight at Saruni Leopard Hill.
Day 7: Fly to Zanzibar
Morning breakfast at the camp and bid goodbye to Maasai mara and transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Wilson to connect a Safarilink flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival Abeid Amani Karume International airport, you will be met and transferred to Pongwe Beach. Dinner and overnight at the beach hotel.
Day 8 &9&10: Barefoot Luxury on Zanzibar Beach
Spend full day at leisure to enjoy the beach with optional activities: snorkeling & diving. All meals will be at the resort. Evening at leisure to enjoy the sunset by the beach.
Day 11: Departure Zanzibar
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to Abeid Amani Karume International airport for your onwards international flight leaving with good memories of a taste of East Africa.
