Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international airport, you will be meet by Wild Fig Ventures representative and transferred to your city hotel for overnight. Dinner and overnight at Eka Hotel on Bed and Breakfast. Optional evening visit to the Nairobi National Park or a local restaurant for dinner if clients have enough time.
Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Breakfast at the hotel and depart for Amboseli National Park (approx. 4-hour drive) renowned wildlife conservation area, enticing visitors with its stunning rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes. Home to iconic wildlife including the Big five, from lions to graceful mammals and countless number of bird species in its swamps and wetlands. Arrive in time for lunch and later in the afternoon have an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai lodge on Full Board basis
Day 3: Amboseli National Park
Early morning game drive at the Amboseli national park with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Mt. Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in Africa rising at 5,896m above sea level and its snowcapped summit dominates the landscape and on clear days it is clearly visible during early mornings and afternoons making it a superb backdrop for wildlife photography. Later return to the lodge and spend the mid-morning at leisure. Lunch at the lodge and later have an evening game drive at the park. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai lodge on Full Board basis
Day 4: Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha
Breakfast at the lodge and depart with a game enroute to Lake Naivasha (approx. 6-hours drive). One of Kenya’s most enchanting natural landmarks — a freshwater lake set amid volcanic highlands, acacia woodlands, and sprawling flower farms. Renowned for its abundant birdlife, scenic beauty, and tranquil waters, it is both a wildlife haven and a center of human enterprise. Lunch at the resort later in the afternoon enjoy a boat ride in Lake Naivasha. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge (full board)
Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Nakuru National Park
Breakfast at the resort and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park (approx. 1.5-hours drive). Lake Nakuru national park is a ball of beautiful sights waiting to be explored. A wide ecological diversity, varied wildlife habitats, plant and animal species await the wild outdoor lovers. The park is a uniquely rewarding game-viewing destination and a successful sanctuary for both the endangered black rhinos and white rhinos. Arrive in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon at Leisure and later enjoy afternoon game drive at the park with a visit to viewpoint for stunning views of the lake. Dinner and overnight at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge (full board)
Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park to Maasai Mara Reserve
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Later depart for Maasai Mara (approx. 5-hours drive). Maasai Mara is one of the wildlife conservation and wilderness areas in Africa with large populations of lions, leopards, chetaahs and african elephants. It’s one of the seven wonders of Africa and hosts the great migration. Arrive in time for lunch and later in the afternoon enjoy an evening game in one of the ten wonders of the world rich in Wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova camp (full board)
Day 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve
Optional hot air balloon ride over the Maasai Mara (additional cost). Early morning game drive to witness the wildlife at sunrise and later return to the camp and spend the midmorning at leisure or have an optional visit to a Maasai village for cultural experiences. Lunch at the camp and later enjoy evening game drive to spot more cats, mammals and birds. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova camp (full board)
Day 8: Departure from Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Check out and depart for Nairobi (approx. 5-6hours drive). Arrive in Nairobi city and have lunch at Finch Hattons the restaurant offers both A La Carte and buffet menu for both local and international dishes with a strong focus on sourcing the freshest ingredients from local Kenyan farms. Pastries, breads and cakes are all freshly prepared in the kitchens daily. Later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
- If time permits, visit the Giraffe Centre or Karen Blixen Museum before heading to the airport.
